Cool stop off for a craft pint on the way home! Relaxed vibe. Food menu looked great. Must try when stopping in again.
Fantastic pizza. Nice atmosphere. Fairly good choice of brews. Work up a sweat on the Thermal belt rail trail then hit Barley's.
Great service and food. Awesome atmosphere. Plenty of craft beer choices. The building is a slice of Americana. Original tin ceiling is still in tact. This used to be the old pharmacy for the town.
So I took my daughter to Barley's Taproom and pizzeria last night for dinner, the waitress brings our tea and it was out right horrible. Couldn't get her attention to get another drink, but thankfully a friend of mine who works there seen me and came to the rescue. After waiting some time for my initial waitress to come take my order, another waiter finally came and took it. The food was good overall, but the service was horrid. Atleast on my waitresses part. She never came to check on us and finally when we was done eating she asked if we wanted boxes to go and a drink to go, she finally brought the ticket, but it took her so long to come get the money I just stood up handed it to the waiter who actually checked on me and walked out, and I still tipped her smh!
We had the Caribbean Jerk Chicken pPizza. It was good enough, but I thought it would be more flavorful. My son had the meat lovers, which has beefalo, an unusual touch. We don't drink alcohol, but there is a nice bar, with lots of taps. The pasta dishes looked food. We will definitely go back and try those.The building is old with what looks like a tin ceiling, lots of old photos. That is cool.
